Jubiläums der Dresdner Strassenbahn entwickeln Wieland Stumpf und sein Team ein Konzept für eine Geburtstagsfeier. Ziel ist es, den internationalen Trend des Strassenbahnfahrens, die Dresdner Strassenbahntradition und die Bräuche einer Geburtstagsfeier in einem großen Familienfest zu feiern. Die Idee: Wir laden Gäste aus ganz Europa ein, die Geschenke mitbringen und mit denen wir spielen wollen. So entstand die Idee des Wettbewerbs und der Disziplinen im Rahmen eines internationalen Familienfestes.

17 Teams, aus 10 Nationen sowie 30.000 Besucher erleben am 29. und 30. September 2012 eine unvergessene Veranstaltung. Noch während der Veranstaltung reift in Wieland Stumpf der Entschluss, die Veranstaltung fortsetzen zu wollen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt ist jedoch völlig unklar, wie das gelingen soll.

Der Sieg geht 2012 Prozent an das Team aus Ungarn. Budapest gewinnt knapp vor Dresden und Brüssel. Ein Mythos wird geborgen: Kann ein Gastgeber die EM gewinnen?
