Am 19. September 2026 fand in Warschau die 12. Straßenbahn-Europameisterschaft statt. 26 Teams aus 24 Ländern traten an, um die Frage zu klären: Wer ist das beste Team auf den Schienen?

Nach 8 anspruchsvollen Disziplinen und 52 Läufen stand fest: Der Titel geht 2026 nach Prag. Vendula Tmejová und Zdeněk Rychtář sicherten sich mit starken Leistungen und insgesamt 6.000 Punkten den Sieg bei der European TramDriver Championship. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Auf Platz 2 fuhr das Team aus Oradea mit Ionela Schipor und Florin Olaru und 5.820 Punkten. Den dritten Platz sicherten sich Raya Zlatareva und Mihail Antoniev aus Sofia mit 5.775 Punkten. Was für ein spannender Wettbewerb!

Der Parcours hatte es in sich: Gefordert waren unter anderem sanftes Stop & Go, Geschwindigkeitskontrolle bei 25 km/h, Zielbremsen, Tram-Bowling, seitlicher Abstand, Basketball, ein perfekter Halt mit der zweiten Tür sowie eine Rückwärtsfahrt nach Pfeifkommandos. Auch die Gesamtzeit floss in die Bewertung ein. Die Ergebnisse beider Einzelfahrten wurden zur Teamwertung addiert.

Neben der Teamwertung wurden auch die besten Einzelfahrerinnen und Einzelfahrer Europas ausgezeichnet.

Bei den Frauen gewann Hilda Polamo aus Tampere mit 3.035 Punkten den Titel Best European Driver. Auf Platz 2 folgte Anina Lara Knecht aus Zürich mit 2.980 Punkten, Platz 3 ging an Vendula Tmejová aus Prag mit 2.825 Punkten.

Bei den Männern sicherte sich Andrii Bichev aus Kyiv mit 3.240 Punkten den ersten Platz. Zdeněk Rychtář aus Prag wurde mit 3.175 Punkten Zweiter, gefolgt von Mihail Antoniev aus Sofia mit 3.135 Punkten.

Tausende Besucherinnen und Besucher verfolgten das Spektakel im Zentrum von Warschau. Weltweit waren rund 80.000 Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer im Livestream dabei.

On September 19, 2026, the 12th European TramDriver Championship took place in Warsaw. 26 teams from 24 countries competed to answer one big question: Who is the best tram driver team in Europe?

After 8 demanding disciplines and 52 runs, the result was clear: the 2026 title goes to Prague. Vendula Tmejová and Zdeněk Rychtář delivered two outstanding runs and secured first place with a total of 6,000 points. Congratulations!

Second place went to Oradea, with Ionela Schipor and Florin Olaru, scoring 5,820 points. Sofia, represented by Raya Zlatareva and Mihail Antoniev, finished third with 5,775 points. What an exciting competition!

The course was highly demanding and included the following tasks: smooth Stop & Go, speed control at 25 km/h, target braking, tram bowling, lateral distance, basketball, a perfect stop with the second door, and a reverse ride guided by whistle commands. The total time of each run was also included in the evaluation. The results of both individual runs were combined to determine the final team score.

In addition to the team ranking, the best individual tram drivers in Europe were also honoured.

In the women’s category, Hilda Polamo from Tampere was named Best European Driver, taking first place with 3,035 points. Anina Lara Knecht from Zurich came second with 2,980 points, followed by Vendula Tmejová from Prague in third place with 2,825 points.

Thousands of visitors followed the spectacle in the centre of Warsaw. Around 80,000 viewers worldwide watched the competition live via livestream.

Le 19 septembre 2026, le 12e Championnat d’Europe des conductrices et conducteurs de tramway s’est tenu à Varsovie. 26 équipes venues de 24 pays se sont affrontées pour répondre à une grande question : quelle est la meilleure équipe de conducteurs de tramway en Europe ?

Après 8 épreuves exigeantes et 52 passages, le résultat était clair : le titre 2026 revient à Prague. Vendula Tmejová et Zdeněk Rychtář ont réalisé deux excellents parcours et remportent la victoire avec un total de 6 000 points. Félicitations !

La deuxième place revient à Oradea, avec Ionela Schipor et Florin Olaru, qui ont obtenu 5 820 points. Sofia, représentée par Raya Zlatareva et Mihail Antoniev, complète le podium avec 5 775 points. Quelle compétition passionnante !

Le parcours était particulièrement exigeant et comprenait les épreuves suivantes : Stop & Go en douceur, contrôle de la vitesse à 25 km/h, freinage de précision, tram bowling, distance latérale, basketball, un arrêt parfait avec la deuxième porte, ainsi qu’une marche arrière guidée par des coups de sifflet. Le temps total de chaque passage était également pris en compte dans l’évaluation. Les résultats des deux passages individuels ont été additionnés pour établir le classement final par équipes.

En plus du classement par équipes, les meilleures performances individuelles européennes ont également été récompensées.

Chez les femmes, Hilda Polamo de Tampere a été élue Best European Driver et remporte la première place avec 3 035 points. Anina Lara Knecht de Zurich termine deuxième avec 2 980 points, suivie de Vendula Tmejová de Prague à la troisième place avec 2 825 points.
